BBM Packaging experienced an impressive growth of its turnover in 2018
For BBM 2018 was an important growing year, especially in terms of turnover: not only confirmed it the positive trend, the growth was impressive, with the sales volume increasing by 44%. The motor of that was the sales of reconditioned machines, which increased by 75%, but the other core activities of BBM, service and spare parts sale, kept on growing too.
The business partners of BBM know well that the hardest part is ahead, and it is stressed by the CEO Giuseppe Boffelli, “Growing is very difficult in a very competitive market as today’s one and, on the other hand, it is very easy to lose the trust of customers quickly, especially if you rest on your previous success. And to confirm the results is even harder, because the expectations of clients grow too. That has never frightened us, as we have always passed on customers and partners our passion and the message that we are the harsher critics of our work, we can and must do better.”
To improve, the management seems to have the path clear in mind, as Boffelli keeps on telling, “Thus, we know that investments are necessary to continue and confirm the growing trend, investing in a better organisation of the company, which goes together with a larger staff with more pronounced skills and competences (from the production workshops of San Pellegrino Terme and Lenna to the offices), and in the facilities, to best serve who is looking for a quality solution for their bottling and packaging plant.”
In particular, for what concerns the production sites, the one in Lenna, which houses also the BBM showroom, with revamped blow moulders, palletizers and shrink-wrapping machines available for the customers to be seen, is the one in which BBM is investing more: to give our technicians the best spaces and equipment to work in the best way and to improve logistics. 2019, a year for BBM to prove itself, with the steady goal of creating value for our customers by offering a high-quality service in the beverage industry.
