{"id":53831,"date":"2025-07-01T12:03:21","date_gmt":"2025-07-01T10:03:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bbmpackaging.com\/?p=53831"},"modified":"2025-07-01T12:03:21","modified_gmt":"2025-07-01T10:03:21","slug":"technical-upgrade-oransoda-pet-packaging-line-infeed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bbmpackaging.com\/en\/technical-upgrade-oransoda-pet-packaging-line-infeed\/","title":{"rendered":"Technical Upgrade to the OranSoda PET Packaging Line"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 data-start=\"34\" data-end=\"137\"><strong data-start=\"34\" data-end=\"136\">Improvement of the Oran Soda PET Packaging Line: Upgrade on Feeding and Format Change<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>At the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.royalunibrew.com\/about-us\/strategy\/terme-di-crodo-lemonsoda\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Terme di Crodo<\/a> plant, part of the Royal Unibrew A\/S group, an upgrade intervention was carried out on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbmpackaging.com\/en\/machines\/used-shrink-wrappers-tray-formers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>machine at the PET bottle packaging line<\/strong><\/a> for Lemon Soda. The goal of the intervention was to improve the efficiency and reliability of the line, particularly in the bottle feeding phase to the packer.<\/p>\n<h3>Intervention Details<\/h3>\n<p>The intervention included:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Installation of a new side guide system on the SMI packer, designed to optimize the flow of products coming from the loose conveyor belts towards the machine inlet.<\/li>\n<li>Optimization of the format change, with particular focus on managing bottles of different diameters, in order to increase versatility and speed of adjustments.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The expected result was smoother and more consistent feeding of bottles to the packer, minimizing jams and improving the overall efficiency of the line.
