How BBM achieved significant energy savings through the installation of solar panels<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The transition toward sustainable production models is no longer just an ethical choice, but a fundamental requirement for competitiveness. The concept of corporate energy efficiency<\/strong> is now the core around which the development strategies of the most forward-thinking companies revolve\u2014those able to combine operational performance with the protection of natural resources. The evolution of the strategy: from San Pellegrino to Lenna<\/strong><\/h3>\n

In the past, the company had already demonstrated a pioneering vision by installing a photovoltaic system at the San Pellegrino<\/strong> site. This infrastructure was a strategic asset that made it possible to self-consume 85% of the energy produced<\/strong>, reducing dependence on fossil fuels and stabilizing operating costs.<\/p>\n

However, the success of San Pellegrino was only the starting point. In 2024, BBM decided to raise the bar even higher, extending its culture of sustainability to the Lenna<\/strong> site as well. Here, the installation of a high-efficiency photovoltaic hub<\/strong><\/a> was completed\u2014a true jewel of energy engineering. With an 80 kW<\/strong> photovoltaic field, the structure is now able to produce the electricity used by almost the entire production site. <\/p>\n

The BlackSun system and Sunpower modules<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The excellence of a system is not measured only by its nominal power, but by the quality of its components and the care taken in architectural integration. For the Lenna site, BBM chose the best technology available on the market, relying on internationally renowned partners.<\/p>\n

The interface between the brand-new solar panels and the roof covering was created using the \u201cBlackSun\u201d<\/strong> mounting system. This system, made in Baraclit<\/a><\/strong>, represents a significant innovation in the field of industrial construction. Made of eco-friendly fiber cement, it is equipped with metal structures designed to avoid any perforation of the existing roof layer. This choice ensures the long-term structural integrity of the building.<\/p>\n

The beating heart of the system is made up of Sunpower Performance 6 COM BF<\/strong> modules. Each module has a power output of 500 Wp<\/strong> and is characterized by outstanding efficiency. Thanks to this technology, BBM managed to use fewer panels<\/strong> and therefore occupy less surface area<\/strong> on the roof, maximizing output per square meter. From an energy efficiency<\/strong> perspective, space optimization is a key factor that leaves room for future installations.<\/p>\n
