A new milestone in our journey towards sustainability
We are excited to present the 2025 Sustainability Report of BBM Service Srl, our third voluntary report aligned with GRI standards. This document highlights the progress made in 2024 and outlines a clear and concrete vision for the 2025–2027 three-year period. Download it here:

2024: a year of significant progress
Over the past year, we worked side by side across all departments to turn our ideas into sustainable realities:
• Infrastructure and safety: in Lenna, we reorganized internal flows to optimize processes and improve comfort for our employees. In San Pellegrino, we set up a new base for technicians, streamlining the planning of business trips.
• Technological innovation: the MES system became operational, enabling real-time monitoring of our facilities. We launched the WMS project and an e-commerce platform dedicated to compatible spare parts. Meanwhile, we strengthened GDPR compliance and whistleblowing processes, ensuring data transparency and protection.
• Environmental sustainability: 2024 saw us ranked among the top performers with an EcoVadis gold medal, placing us in the top 5% of companies worldwide. We obtained our first Gender Equality certification. In Lenna, the photovoltaic system produced 31,000 kWh, reducing energy draw by 25%. Since January 2025, we use only green energy thanks to an agreement with suppliers. We also introduced more sustainable shipping with DHL Green and installed defibrillators at both sites.
• Training and human capital: we launched specialist courses on stretch-blow molding, packaging and bottling machine safety, as well as privacy and compliance training. Through the “Bergamo Tecnologica” project, we revamped our website and made the user experience more intuitive.
Looking ahead to 2025–2027: goals and ambitions
The report outlines six key areas, all centered on innovation and sustainability:
1. Environment and infrastructure: relocation of the San Pellegrino office to a renovated (class A) building with solar panels, heat pumps, and electric charging stations, promoting building reuse over new land consumption.
2. Automation and digitalization: full implementation of MES and WMS, expansion of e-commerce, and introduction of a CRM system. We will soon install a 3D printer for in-house products, integrated with our advanced metrology lab. Our proprietary management software, AKIS, will also be updated for improved handling of technical interventions.
3. Quality certifications: achieving MOCA certification in 2025 and ISO 9001 in 2026. We will continue to maintain the UNI PDR 135 Gender Equality certification with new training initiatives.
4. Operational efficiency: new automated vertical warehouse (+100 m³) and enhancement of the AKIS software to improve after-sales service.
5. Training: ongoing technical and commercial courses, with a focus on blow molding maintenance, digitalization, and parenting-related programs (e.g., pediatric airway clearing).
6. Social responsibility and supply chain: strengthening the ESG system to assess suppliers based on environmental, social, and governance criteria.

Drinktec 2025: setting sail for Munich
As a culmination of our commitment, we are preparing for our participation in Drinktec 2025, the world’s leading trade fair for the beverage industry, taking place in Munich (Messe München) from September 15 to 19, 2025. You will find us in Hall A6 – Stand 539, together with over 1,000 exhibitors from more than 50 countries. The event’s main themes will be “Circularity & Resource Management” and “Data2Value.” Our stand will serve as a true innovation hub.
