The process involves inserting a cardboard die-cut under the product. Then, the product is sealed through a wrapping and film-overlapping process on the underside. An integrated shrink tunnel with forced circulation of hot air ensures that the film adheres perfectly to the pack, sealing it also on the sides.
The XP series of automatic monoblock film-launch shrink wrappers offers advantages such as using a single film reel and the ability to work with centered printed film, increasing production capacity up to 25 packs/minute.
In the three months following the order, the machine underwent a complete refurbishment process: disassembly, inspection and replacement of worn parts, mechanical overhauls, and updates. The result is a machine with optimized performance for the specific needs of Acqua Vigezzo.
