When an international packaging group such as Logoplaste launches a new production project, being able to rely on qualified technical partners becomes a key factor in ensuring reliability, operational continuity and the value of investments.
In this context, BBM was involved to support Logoplaste in the technical assessment, maintenance and preparation of a Sidel blow molder destined for a new production site in Brazil, providing specialized expertise developed within the bottling and packaging industry.
Who is Logoplaste
Founded in 1976, Logoplaste is one of the leading international groups specializing in the design, production and management of rigid plastic packaging for the beverage, food, home care and personal care sectors.
With a global presence and numerous production facilities located across different countries, the company operates according to an integrated model that involves establishing manufacturing operations directly at, or in close proximity to, its customers’ facilities, ensuring high standards of efficiency, sustainability and operational continuity.
Assessment and maintenance of a Sidel SBO 10 Universal PH
BBM supported Logoplaste in the technical management of a Sidel SBO 10 Universal PH blow molder destined for a new production site in Brazil.
The project originated from the need to carry out a complete assessment of the machine’s condition and define the maintenance activities required ahead of its new production assignment.
During the initial phase, BBM technicians worked together with the customer’s technical team to perform a joint audit at the site in the Netherlands, analyzing the machine’s main components and identifying the parts requiring replacement or overhaul.
Subsequently, the blow molder was transferred to BBM’s operational facility in Lenna, where the team continued the inspection and preparation activities, defining the intervention plan and coordinating all operations required to restore the machine ahead of its new installation in Brazil.
Based on the inspections carried out, the intervention plan was defined and the original spare parts required for the machine’s restoration and maintenance were ordered through Sidel’s official supply channels.
Thanks to the audit, planning and maintenance activities carried out by the BBM team, the blow moulding machine was prepared for installation at Logoplaste’s new Brazilian production facility, with a defined intervention plan and the procurement of the original spare parts required for its restoration and future operation.
