BBM Packaging is an Italian company that supports clients at every stage of the project: from design to machinery supply, from technical assistance to maintenance and overhaul. Thanks to a large spare parts warehouse and a team of specialized technicians, we ensure rapid response times, production continuity, and tailor-made solutions capable of meeting even the most complex operational needs.
Alongside these activities, BBM Service stands out for its support in the relocation of bottling and packaging lines, expertly managing the dismantling, handling, and transportation of complex machinery, even in challenging logistical contexts such as transfers between different plants or exceptional long-distance transport.
Relocation and dismantling with our own equipment
In the field of relocation, a true added value that BBM offers its clients is the use of company-owned lifting equipment, ensuring independence, efficiency, and cost reduction.
All lifting equipment required for the intervention is transported directly by BBM to the client’s site, guaranteeing full availability with no additional costs.
Unlike rental solutions, where each intervention may involve different brands and models, each with specific controls, operating logics, and technical features, BBM always works with equipment that is well known and consistently used by its personnel. This eliminates adaptation time and drastically reduces the risk of operational errors.
When working at height or handling heavy loads, familiarity with the equipment is not just an advantage: it is a key factor in accident prevention and in safeguarding both operators and facilities.
All lifting equipment required for the intervention is transported directly by BBM to the client’s site, ensuring full availability, reliable planning, and reduced rental costs.
Technical equipment and safety standards
Among the handling equipment provided by BBM are electric aerial work platforms PE1 and PE2, scissor-type and therefore articulated, with non-marking tires, capable of lifting personnel and loads up to 200 kg, reaching a maximum height of 12 meters and a horizontal outreach of up to 5 meters.
These platforms allow work at height—above two meters—such as maintenance, wiring, and cable disconnection, ensuring safety and operational agility.
BBM also provides forklifts for lifting materials up to 2,500 kg. The adoption of equipment capable of lifting up to 5,000 kg is planned.
All operators are qualified in accordance with current workplace health and safety regulations, and the equipment undergoes scheduled quarterly inspections. This ensures high standards, consistent reliability, and prevention of potential technical issues.
Management of extraordinary handling operations and crane services
For extraordinary handling operations, exceptional transport, or activities requiring the use of high-capacity cranes, BBM works exclusively with leading companies in the sector.
Collaboration with highly specialized partners makes it possible to maintain the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and operational precision, ensuring maximum protection for the client even in the most complex and delicate operations.

Case study: industrial relocation with BBM lifting equipment
BBM recently managed the complete relocation of an 30.000 bph PET line, leveraging in-house lifting equipment and qualified personnel. Thanks to this combination, the client was able to rely on a single point of contact.
The project covered every phase: from dismantling to overhaul, from transport to reassembly, along a true cross-Italy transfer. Planning included technical site inspection, definition of operational sequences, and assignment of Project Manager, Site Supervisor, and Safety Officer, with verification of the most suitable equipment.
This integrated approach sets BBM apart from competitors in the sector: an organizational model that combines owned equipment, qualified personnel, and full project management, ensuring safety, efficiency, and cost control.
