BBM has completed a revamping project on a packaging line including a divider and the OCME ALTAIR X30 case packer, delivering a turnkey solution intended for a major international customer, on behalf of a leading Italian system integrator active in the packaging sector.
Turnkey integration of an OCME ALTAIR X30 case packer
The supply enabled the integration, within an existing line, of a wrap-around case packer capable of receiving bundles coming from a single-lane shrink-wrapping machine and repacking them into 4-packs (3×2 configuration of 500 ml).
The revamping project allowed BBM to optimize the integration between the different units of the system, ensuring more efficient handling of the packaging stages.
Thanks to BBM’s turnkey approach, all project phases — from engineering to manufacturing through to commissioning — were managed in an integrated way, ensuring production continuity and fast start-up.
