We are proud to present the BBM Sustainability Report 2025, the fourth voluntary report through which we share our journey of responsible growth and present to our customers, employees, suppliers, and partners the results achieved over the year.
Sustainability is a core principle that guides BBM throughout the entire value chain and translates into a commitment to continuously measure, report, and improve our environmental, social, and governance (ESG) impact. This Report therefore represents not only a transparency tool, but also tangible evidence of the daily commitment we make to combining innovation, quality, people focus, and environmental protection.
The year 2025 was particularly significant for our company. We celebrated the 20th anniversary of BBM, an important milestone that reflects two decades of growth, expertise, relationships, and trust built together with our customers and partners. This anniversary is not a final destination, but a new foundation from which to look to the future with ambition and responsibility.
A year of concrete results
Throughout 2025, we continued our path of continuous improvement, achieving significant results in environmental, social, and organizational areas.
1. Environment and energy
The energy transition remains a cornerstone of our corporate strategy. Thanks to investments made at our Lenna production site, energy production from our photovoltaic system increased by 58% compared to the previous year, contributing to a 18% reduction in energy consumption purchased from the national grid. In addition, we have chosen to use exclusively electricity from certified renewable sources, ensuring that 100% of the energy we purchase is green energy.
2. Quality and compliance
In 2025, BBM obtained the MOCA Declaration (Materials and Objects in Contact with Food), an important recognition confirming our ongoing commitment to process quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. This result further strengthens customer trust and consolidates the company’s position within the beverage and packaging supply chain.
3. People and inclusion
People remain at the core of BBM’s growth. In 2025, 1,120 hours of training were delivered, focused on technical and commercial skills development, safety, and organizational well-being. Key initiatives included training programs related to Drinktec 2025 and the extension of defibrillator training to the Lenna sites, alongside awareness activities on emergencies and first aid.
4. Gender equality and organizational well-being
BBM has consolidated its path certified under UNI/PdR 125:2022, confirming for the third consecutive year its structured commitment to gender equality. All employees took part in training on inclusive language, while the Steering Committee continued to promote initiatives focused on equal opportunities and people development. The improvement in the annual monitoring score confirms the strength of the system and our commitment to building an increasingly inclusive and fair workplace.

Looking to the future
The results achieved in 2025 provide a solid foundation on which to build the next steps of our sustainability journey.
The main objectives already underway include:
- the consolidation of digitalization processes, with the enhancement of commercial management tools, activity monitoring systems, and data analysis to support operational decision-making;
- the maintenance and strengthening of initiatives dedicated to inclusion, gender equality, and organizational well-being, building on the results achieved with the UNI/PdR 125:2022 Certification and the activities developed by the Gender Equality Steering Committee;
- the continuation of investments in human capital through training programs;
- the launch of the process aimed at obtaining ISO 9001 certification in 2026;
- a further 15% reduction in energy consumption by 2027 through the installation of a second photovoltaic system at the Lenna site.
We believe that sustainability is not a goal to be achieved, but a continuous journey of growth involving every aspect of our business.
For this reason, we will continue to invest in innovation, skills, quality, and responsibility, with the aim of creating lasting value for our customers, our employees, the local area, and future generations.
