2026 was a year of evolution for BBM, marked by new projects, investments in training, and important steps forward in the company’s organization.
From strengthening our presence in international markets to developing internal skills and launching new initiatives related to quality and sustainability, throughout the year we continued to lay the foundations for increasingly structured growth.
BBM beyond borders: Expo Pack Mexico 2026
From June 2 to 5, BBM Packaging participated in Expo Pack Mexico 2026, one of the leading events for the packaging and processing technology industry in Latin America.
BBM participated as a co-exhibitor alongside Comercializadora BARGO, our spare parts partner in Mexico, presenting its solutions and further strengthening the company’s presence in international markets.
Growing together through training
In 2026, we strengthened our commitment to training by investing in the development of skills that go beyond strictly technical expertise.
Among the main initiatives was a new training program dedicated to communication, designed to improve everyday relationships and interactions with colleagues and customers. The sessions covered topics such as active listening, body language, managing judgment, and structuring a conversation.
This program was complemented by training on discrimination, harassment, and mobbing, involving 25 employees from the Lenna and San Pellegrino Terme sites and providing a further opportunity to raise awareness about respect, inclusion, and equal treatment.
This journey also included the successful completion of the second Surveillance Audit for maintaining the UNI/PdR 125:2022 Gender Equality Certification, confirming BBM’s commitment to building an increasingly inclusive workplace focused on valuing people.
An organization that continues to evolve
BBM’s growth has also required an evolution in the tools and processes that shape everyday working life.
During 2026, we worked on the revision and update of the Company Regulations, with the aim of ensuring they remain aligned with the evolution of the organization and the needs of the people who are part of it.
At the same time, we began the process of obtaining ISO 9001 certification, another step towards increasingly structured process management and continuous improvement.
The project will continue in 2027, with the goal of completing the process and obtaining certification.
Another step towards more sustainable energy
In 2026, we also continued to invest in environmental sustainability with the installation of a new 100 kW photovoltaic system at the Lenna plant.
This investment increases our capacity to generate renewable energy on-site and helps progressively reduce our dependence on electricity purchased from the grid.
The next challenges
2027 will be the year in which some of the initiatives launched in 2026 move into a new phase.
Our main objectives include:
- completing the ISO 9001 certification process and obtaining the certification;
- strengthening training by combining new programs delivered by external professionals with internal training and the sharing of company know-how;
- increasing electricity production from photovoltaic systems by 50%, thanks to the installation of the new system;
- continuing to improve our internal organization and invest in people’s growth and development.
Building the BBM of tomorrow, today
The results achieved in 2026 reflect a company that continues to evolve, not only through new projects and market opportunities, but also by investing in its people and strengthening its organization.
2027 will mark another step forward in this journey: growing in an increasingly structured way, developing new skills, and turning today’s goals into tomorrow’s results.
