Our commitment to sustainability

At BBM, sustainability is an integral part of the way we do business. It is not a standalone initiative, but a guiding principle that shapes every decision we make—from service design and business operations to corporate governance and our relationships with customers, suppliers, and local communities.

During 2025 and 2026, we also embarked on an even more structured journey to strengthen the management and reporting of ESG matters. This initiative has enabled us to further consolidate our sustainability governance model, define measurable objectives, monitor performance indicators, and report our achievements and future commitments with greater transparency.

Our approach is built on structured and participatory governance. The Board of Directors, consisting of the company’s two founding partners, defines the strategic direction, while a cross-functional team coordinates initiatives across the main ESG topics.

This governance model enables us to turn sustainability objectives into tangible actions, supported by tools such as our Code of Ethics, the Strategic Gender Equality Plan, and our corporate policies.

Sustainability is reflected both in our internal operations and in the value we deliver to our customers. Within the organization, we promote responsible behaviors, invest in process digitalization, reduce the use of single-use plastics, implement energy efficiency solutions, and manage resources carefully and responsibly.

Our most distinctive contribution is the circular economy model at the core of our business. Through remanufacturing, we restore used machinery to extend its lifecycle, enabling customers to benefit from high-performance equipment with a lower environmental impact than purchasing new machines.

Our commitment has also received international recognition: in 2025, BBM was awarded the EcoVadis Silver Medal, placing the company among the top 15% of businesses worldwide for sustainability performance. This achievement encourages us to continue our journey of continuous improvement by further strengthening our sustainability practices and the quality of our ESG reporting.

We also believe that sustainable growth is driven by people. For this reason, we collaborate with universities, schools, and research centers to support the education of future generations, while developing initiatives together with public institutions, associations, and local organizations to contribute to the growth of the communities where we operate.

BBM is also a participant in the United Nations Global Compact, committing to promote responsible growth based on respect for human rights, labor standards, environmental protection, and business ethics.
