On Friday, 13 May 2022, Olympic champion Sofia Goggia met fans at a charity event proposed by the Lenna administration and organized at the BBM Service headquarters.
After the first 2019 edition – which had seen the famous skier as a guest of BBM in an evening dedicated to the world of sport -, the event was reproposed thanks to the precious help of Lenna&Eventi, an association of young volunteers from Lenna.
Upon her arrival, Sofia immediately received the affection of her fans in a participative copy sign with her young fans. The evening continued with a solidarity dinner made of typical Bergamo dishes; the event ended with musical entertainment.
During the festive evening, Sofia Goggia wanted to auction off some of her racing gear, including the red bib worn in Cortina d’Ampezzo and the helmet used during her downhill World Cup victory. The public reciprocated the skier’s generosity, competing to secure the many memorabilia items, including pairs of skis, T-shirts and tracksuits. The entire proceeds from the auction and the solidarity dinner were donated to the Italian Red Cross emergency fund.
