Since 1974, Cesarini Sforza winery has been producing sparkling wines of the highest quality. The accurate selection of Chardonnay and Pinot noir grapes makes the winery occupy an important role in the world of Italian sparkling wines; updated techniques and the attention for a vanguard production make it one of the most innovative wineries of Trentino in terms of production processes. Trento DOC, a classic method sparkling wine produced with only Trentino grapes, is the pride of Cesarini Sforza.
In February 2021 BBM was contacted for the installation of a complete glass line and the supply of a set of single-line belts, as well as a PLC and operator panel software integration operation, including data exchange between the line and the plant management system. The customer wanted to confirm his choice on BBM Service thanks to its reliability, experience and timing in managing the works.
After an initial technical audit at the premises, where production requirements and technical details were discussed, BBM began talks with the customer’s suppliers for the installation of the new glass bottling line for classic method sparkling wine. In July 2021, after receiving the necessary equipment, BBM’s specialized technicians proceeded with the installation and commissioning with testing of the new degorgement line, a technique used in the production of sparkling wines, with the aim of making the wine perfectly clear. BBM took care of physically connecting all the new machines of the line thanks to the new electrical automation panel.
The result is an updated and advanced production line, capable of guaranteeing a performance of 3000 bottles per hour. We would like to thank all the staff of Cesarini Sforza for their professionalism, helpfulness and collaboration.
