Our client SIAMI S.p.a. , an Italian mineral water company contacted us in June 2021 to carry out a conservative dismantling of their COMBI SIDEL Universal monoblock at their plant in Cerreto di Spoleto, in the province of Perugia. The company needed to carry out a production revamp of the plant in a short period of time.
SIAMI S.p.a. was looking for a partner able to examine the machinery in all its parts and to draw up a proposal for conservative dismantling within a certain timeframe. The choice fell on BBM Service because of their confidence in their ability to guarantee compliance with the timeframe envisaged and requested by the customer.
Following a preliminary inspection by our specialised technicians, in just one week BBM provided for the complete dismantling of the machinery, including the transport and loading of the goods organised with suitable packaging systems.
Our focus on sustainability led us to the decision to re-use all or part of the existing machinery. After careful analysis, the machine was transported to our plant in Lenna (BG), where it was completely overhauled with a view to resale. SIAMI S.p.a. has two plants for bottling and packaging mineral water: the historic site in Cerreto di Spoleto and the more recent one in Gubbio (PG). Acqua VIVA, Acqua MISIA, and LIEVE are some of the mineral water brands of the company, which operates in the large-scale retail trade, the Ho.Re. Ca channel and retailers.
